Have you had a significant life experience that is fascinating, inspiring, educational, informative, or just plain funny? Is yours a tale that begs to be told? Study the art and craft of memoir writing in this eight-week course with published memoir author Bette Isacoff. Learn how to present your life story in a way that will draw in and hold the reader’s attention from start to finish. See your work turn from a recitation of facts to a rich, colorful narrative. Depending on the interests of class members, the details of editing, publishing and marketing may be covered to a greater or lesser degree.

Bette Isacoff
Bette Isacoff is a published author, having written her acclaimed memoir, Star Crossed. Bette obtained her BA, and MFA in Creative Writing, from Albertus Magnus College.
She has also bred, trained, and exhibited Champion, Group, and Best in Specialty Show winning Finnish Spitz under the Kitsuna (reg.) prefix. Her writing has appeared in the AKC Gazette, (where she was also a breed columnist from 1988-1991), Dog Fancy, Golden Ages magazine, and The National Observer and she is a professional member of the Dog Writers Association of America.
Bette has most recently become a Pet Coach for PETCO’s online information service, petMD, which provides answers to consumer questions about such things as pet health, breeds, products, training, nutrition and behavior.
