An Evening of Dogs
Learn from an expert! This one-night class is your opportunity to ask questions about everything DOG--from mutt vs. purebred, to where to get your dog, to training techniques. Your instructor, Bette Isacoff, is a Pet Coach for PETCO’s online information service, petMD, which provides answers to consumer questions about such things as pet health, breeds, products, training, nutrition and behavior.

This one-evening class will teach you the true facts about the pros and cons of dogs from breeders, shelters, pet shops, and newspapers; understand the important differences between purebreds and mixed breeds or so-called “designer” breeds; and discover the dark side of rescue. Find out which dog might be best for you, and what age and gender. Get training tips to ease your new dog into the family.
Dog Obedience FIRST CLASS IS NO DOGS
This is a gentle but firm, positive reinforcement based beginner obedience training class. The AKC exercises - sit, stay, come, heel, figure eight, down, and stay will be used as the basis for enhancing the relationship between you and your dog. One 2 hour session of people only classroom discussion will be followed by seven 1 hour sessions of group work with dogs. Approved collar, lease, and proof of current rabies vaccination required. AMITY SUMMER THEATER CAMP 2018
Amity Summer Theater Camp- Awards Night! This performing arts day camp is designed to teach students voice, dance and acting skills, give them stage experience; ignite their creative spirit; build a sense of accomplishment and community; and encourage them to have fun! The camp cumulates in a full production where all the students participate. All skill levels from novice to experienced are welcome. Tuition is $550 with a $50 sibling discount. Registration includes all fees and activities including camp T-shirt, movie day, ice cream social and camp Olympics. Camp Show: Awards Night -July 27th 2018 @7pm free admission!
